FAQs

  • The Studio Collection is 3D printed in durable resin and hand-painted in layers of white paint for a beautiful matte finish with real texture and depth.

The Foundry Collection is cast in real bronze using traditional methods, resulting in a pure metal sculpture of around 1kg — the kind of timeless, weighty piece you'd expect to see in a museum.

Both are available in three sizes and custom sizing is also available on request.

  • The Studio Collection (resin, hand-painted):

    15cm — $750

    17cm — $850

    20cm — $1,050

    The Foundry Collection (bronze casting):

    15cm — $1,350

    17cm — $1,450

    20cm — $1,650

Custom sizing is also available — get in touch to discuss.

  • At your session! Once you've seen your bump appear in 3D on screen, I will walk you through the collections, sizes and finishes so you can choose what feels right for you.

There's no pressure to decide anything beforehand — just come in and see how it looks first.

  • Each patina is slightly different and hand-finished, which is part of what makes every Foundry Collection piece unique. At your session you'll be able to see examples of all the finishes in person — including Warm Bronze, Antique, Gold and Forest Green — so you can choose the one that suits your home and your taste best.

  • I recommend you book your appointment for your third trimester. Between 31-37 weeks, your bump is at its most round and you are likely to be still in the comfortable zone for the appointment. That being said, it’s totally up to you at which stage you would like to capture!

  • I will invite you to attend your private 3D scanning session in my studio in Collingwood.

At the start of the appointment I will discuss your poses and preferences, and you will be guided through the scanning process.

Each scan takes a few minutes, during which you will need to stay as still as possible.

You’ll be able to see your body appear as a 3D sculpture on the laptop. You’ll be able to have a glimpse into the final images before they are processed. If you feel like trying a different pose, we can make sure there’s enough time during your appointment.

  • Your appointment is around 45 minutes — plenty of time to settle in, try different poses, and make sure you're completely happy before you leave.

  • Located in the heart of Melbourne's creative Collingwood neighbourhood, my private studio offers a calm, welcoming space for your pregnancy sculpture session.

Please reach out for home visit requests.

  • Not at all! Your comfort is my priority and you're welcome to wear underwear. I can smooth over any fabric lines in post-processing, so your sculpture will still look beautiful either way.

That said, posing without clothing does give the most natural, seamless result straight from the scan. Most mamas find it much easier than they expected!

Rest assured, all intimate areas are always smoothed and refined during processing. Your sculpture will be elegant and tasteful. No hair is visible on the final piece.

There's no need to prepare or do anything special beforehand. Just come as you are.

  • Something to tie up your hair to expose your neck, and something cosy to wrap up in between poses — a robe or oversized cardigan works perfectly. You'll also need to remove any jewellery before the scan.

Everything else you need will be here!

  • Yes! During the processing phase I can make a range of tweaks and touch-ups to your sculpture. We'll have a chat during your appointment about exactly how you'd like it to look.

As mentioned, all intimate areas are always smoothed and refined as standard. Beyond that, I can make small adjustments to help your sculpture feel like you at your most beautiful.

It's worth keeping in mind that this is a celebration of your bump. Most mamas are amazed by how much they love seeing their body captured exactly as it is. But I'm here to make sure you feel completely happy with the result.

  • Yes, it is perfectly safe for you and your baby. The 3D scanner uses infrared light, the same kind of light your baby monitor uses for night vision.

There will be flashing, so please let me know in advance if you have any photosensitivity.

  • The Studio Collection (resin) sculptures are typically ready within 8–10 weeks of your scan, and Foundry Collection (bronze) sculptures within 3–4 months.

Bronze takes longer because it's a traditional, multi-stage process. Each stage needs to fully complete before the next can begin. From mold-making and wax pouring, to kiln firing, the cast itself, cooling, and hand-finishing the patina, there's simply no rushing it without compromising the final piece.

Each step needs time for the foundry to do properly, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I pour love and care into every detail of your sculpture, and I promise it's worth the wait.
